Cowtown Presents Final Road Games of 2024

BOVINA CENTER, N.Y. -- It's now the home stretch of the home stretch for the Providence Grays, who travel to upstate New York this weekend (Oct. 5-6) for the Cowtown Scramble in Bovina Center.

Hosted by the Bovina Dairymen at the Creamery Field (1396 County Hwy 6) and sponsored by the Livestock Foundation, the Scramble will feature the New York Mutuals, Brooklyn Atlantics, Westfield Wheelmen, Delhi Polecats, Mountain Athletic Club, Monmouth Furnace, Hamden Nine and Saugerties Vintage Base Ball Club, in addition to the Grays and Dairymen.

Providence takes on Delhi and Saugerties at 1/3 p.m. today (Saturday, Oct. 5) and rounds out the weekend against the Mountain Athletic Club and Monmouth tomorrow morning.

The Grays are seeking bounce-back performances in the Empire State after falling twice at Lisbon two weeks ago (Sep. 21) and splitting a twin bill with Dirigo the weekend prior.

Those results put Providence's record at 20-21-1 entering the final six games of the campaign. After Cowtown, the Grays conclude 2024 with a pair of contests at Rocky Point against the Atlantics on October 19.

Follow all of this weekend's action on the Grays' Facebook and Instagram pages.
